The all-glass partition

Representing any office or stores of a fashionable shopping and entertainment center, you paint in your own mind a picture of glass structures. Regardless of the design of the premises, tempered laminated glass is used for such facilities, the functional purpose of which is assessed as high as the visual characteristics. office partition Design of office workplace design presupposes zoning, asceticism along with the severity and the preservation of a rather small amount of natural light. Glass is the best material that effectively copes with the performance of these functions because transparent partitions are considered the best interior solution for the office. Drawing a linear pattern on the glass allows to diversify the unified visual effect, and the application of tinted film contributes to the possibility of visibility only on one side of the partition. In design, the visual effect is important, and glass allows to solve this issue in a variety and range of solutions. The a...

tempered glass

Tempered glass is often used in applications where using standard glass could pose a potential danger. Tempered glass from new york is stronger than standard glass and does not shatter into large shards when broken, this is important because it can greatly minimize potential danger in the case of a break.

Triplex filling technology

Triplex filling technology

The word triplex itself is of Latin origin and means triple. This term is usually referred to as a special technology for the production of glass products, and its result is laminated glass. The basis of triplex technology is the creation of a kind of “sandwich” of two or more glasses and a polymer layer between them. This layer is able to hold glass fragments upon impact, while at the same time its properties, as a material, remain unchanged.

Methods for the production of triplex

According to the production method, there are two types of triplex, distinguished by their qualities: -triplex created by film technology, it has the best optical characteristics, -triplex created by casting technology has higher strength. Consider the specifics of both methods of triplex production.

Filling technology

Glass plates are glued to each other along the entire surface with a special adhesive fluid (resin), under the influence of uniform UV irradiation, the resin completely polymerizes - this is the way triplex is filled. Triplex multi-layer is produced sequentially, layer by layer, so that the resin solidifies equally. This method allows you to connect different both in texture and color and in the thickness of the glass.

Film technology

With this method of manufacturing triplex is placed between the sheets of glass, then the entire package is pre-pressed in the colander, and then it is finally glued at a temperature of 150 degrees Celsius in an autoclave. In the colander, the air remaining between the film and the glass layers is squeezed out mechanically using rubber shafts, resulting in a certain adhesion of the glass to the film. Triplex is unloaded from the colander almost transparent. Triplex produced by modern technologies has the ability to absorb sound, reduce ultraviolet radiation, thermal resistance and mechanical strength several times more than ordinary glass
