Disappearing Sliding Doors
Such sliding glass doors, when opened, enter a niche in the wall (pocket) corresponding to the width of the panels of which the doors are made. When installed in wide openings, the opening point is in the center and often use remote control.
They also install parallel-sliding multi-wing structures. The principle of their action is more complex. Sashes are divided into panels with the same width, their number can be up to 7. When opened, they fold like an accordion and go into the wall, or can be fixed above the side of the opening.
Trackless and endangered
These sliding glass doors are suspended from the upper rail and do not have a lower rail to move. They can also disappear in the side pocket. When fully closed, the doors lower slightly to adjoin the floor, which avoids the draft.
